The company began 3 years ago as Tasty Graphics. Initially, we sold a range of niche-oriented prints including Pop-Art, Native American art, vintage & antique automobile prints, unusual religious prints, Americana, and prints of interesting images from other cultures such as Aztec/Mayan, feudal Japan, Celtic/Norse culture, and ancient Egypt. Even back then, much of our mission was the same - to provide Museum-Quality prints of interesting and unusual images at affordable prices. We will be launching a seperate site offering those images during summer '07.
The company is located in Great Neck, New York.
A word about copyrights: graffitipix.com believes strongly in copyright protection, and that artists should be compensated for their work.
However, most graffiti artists intentionally put their work into the
public domain when they paint public access public spaces. All of the
prints sold on graffitipix.com are from photographs taken of public
access public spaces, that we took directly, or purchased with rights.
In other words, they are from photographs that we own the rights to.
Public spaces are not copyright-able, however graffitipix.com owns the rights to the photographs we take.
